NYNF - 24HRTML - Production Journal

I am excited to be once more performing with the NY Neo-Futurists in the very special 24-Hour Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind. 

The 24-Hour TMLMTBGB celebrates the NY Neo-Futurists turning 10 as a company. 

The goal of 24-hour TMLMTBGB is to perform 600 plays in 24 hours. No small feat to say the least. 

We will be performing twenty menus allowing for 30-minute breaks every two hours to reset the stage, props, performers, tech, and tech staff. The break will also allow for audience members to stretch their legs. 

I am performing in four menus starting Saturday, October 4 at 3:30am to 8:00am. For those of you doing the math, there's a 30-minute break at 5:30am. 

This is how they breakdown. 

From 3:30am to 5:30am, I'll be performing  Loar, Connor, Dan, Meg, Roberta and Sarah on tech. The themes will be dreams and bad decisions. 

From 6:00am to 8:00am, I'll be with Connor, Flor, Mike, Nessa, Rob and Andy on tech. The themes will be smart and dumb. 

I've now had a rehearsal with both casts and am totally psyched to get these menus on their feet.
