# To Be Added 

Author's Note: I need to detail how to obtain / setup IP access to the host machine.

# OS X to OS X

## Back To My Mac (essentially free)

### Full Directions:

### Requirements: 

* An iCloud account
* Both Macs must be running 10.7.3+
* Both Macs must has iCloud configured for Back To My Mac

### Special Note for 10.7.x - 10.8.x

* Launch the Screen Sharing app.
* Tap Command-G
* Input /System/Library/CoreServices/Screen Sharing and click Go.
* Verify within Preferences that Encrypt all network data (more secure) is enabled.

### Special Note for 10.9.x

All data is encrypted.

## Apple Remote Desktop (volume licenses are available)

### Special Note

* Verify within Preferences / Security that the following is enabled.
* Encrypt network data when using Copy Items
* Encrypt network data when using Install Packages
* Encrypt all network data (more secure)

# Mac To Windows (Remote Desktop Connection or RDC)

* If you do not have it already, download the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client available free of charge here: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/remote-desktop-client 
* Launch the Remote Desktop Client. 

    /Applications/Remote Desktop Connection

* In the input box, enter the IP address and click connect.
* Enter your credentials. Sometimes, you'll be required to enter in a domain. Contact your IT Administrator for specifics.

# Windows To Windows (Remote Desktop Connection or RDC)

* Launch the Remote Desktop Client.
* Click the Start Button at the bottom left of your display.
* In the Search box, input %systemroot%\system32\mstsc.exe
* Tap Enter.
* In the input box, enter the IP address of the remote computer and click connect.
* Enter your credentials. Sometimes, you'll be required to enter in a domain. Contact your IT Administrator for specifics.

# Windows To Mac

I need to update this later. This is a much more complicated setup. To do this securely, you'll need a VPN and a VNC client.

# Android / iOS to Windows

* Go to the Google Play Store or the App Store and download the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client.
* User your IP address, domain\user, password information.
